Beyond the Blindside – Leading Through Change from the Inside Out

Opening General Session featuring Rachel Druckenmiller, Self-Leadership & Workplace Performance Expert

Change is relentless — restructuring, growth, uncertainty and the unexpected moments no one sees coming. Through it all, leaders are expected to balance competing demands, manage their teams, and often do so while running on empty. To be successful and avoid burnout, they need the inner foundation and clarity to lead with confidence and genuine human connection. Drawing from Gallup research and real-world leadership experience, we’ll explore the four qualities people need most from leaders during change and why most leaders aren't consistently delivering on them. You’ll discover how to shift from dwelling on problems to activating possibility, strengthening your own leadership mindset and inspire the same shift to the people you lead.

For nearly 20 years, Rachel Druckenmiller has helped leaders and their teams come alive at work by doing the inside work first. A TEDx speaker and Forbes Next1000 honoree, she spent 13 years as Director of Wellbeing and Employee Engagement at one of the nation's largest employee benefits consulting firms before launching her speaking company, UNMUTED. Her inside-out conviction is simple – you can't give your people what you haven't first built within yourself.
