Now What? Handling Life’s Challenges and Moving with Resilience Each Time

Opening General Session featuring Connor Fields, Olympic BMX Gold Medalist & World Champion

When life throws challenges our way, how we respond to the question “Now What?” can greatly impact outcomes. Join Connor Fields as he equips you with the tools to answer that question with confidence and move forward with purpose. Through compelling personal stories and hard-earned insights, he’ll delve into the crucial powers of resilience, adaptability, overcoming failures, unwavering determination and perspective, empowering you to face challenges head-on. You’ll leave better prepared to answer the question “Now What?”, achieve your goals and maintain a positive outlook toward the future.

Connor Fields is a three-time Olympian, two-time World Champion and the only American to win Olympic BMX Gold. At the 2021 Tokyo Games, he suffered a severe crash resulting in life-threatening injuries and a long road to recovery. While he believed he understood resilience before, the experience tested it in an entirely new way. The same principles of resilience and adaptability that fueled his success as an athlete became essential in his recovery, along with an appreciation for mental health and gratitude. Now a sought-after keynote speaker, host of PBS's "Outdoor Nevada" and an Emmy award winning NBC sports BMX commentator, Connor brings a powerful and inspiring perspective to audiences. His story has been featured on The Today Show, Sports Illustrated and in Vanity Fair.
