Assisted Living Directors - Our Assisted Living Directors are experienced LVNs or RNs that are responsible for coordinating the care of our residents, overseeing our care-giving staff and serving as a liaison with area physicians. This is a hands-on role. Our ideal candidate has a passion for caring for seniors, has 2+ years of experience in caring for seniors in a supervisory role and is customer-service focused.

We are seeking an Assisted Living & Special Needs Director for the Gables of Ojai. Candidate should be able to manage a team of caregivers and provide quality care to our residents, that is consistent with our reputation and training.

Responsibilities include: Supervision and training of all AL staff; direction and monitoring of medications as deemed appropriate for assisted living; review medication orders, supplies, safekeeping and documentation in accordance with AL regulations and requirements; conduct assessments; review med orders, supervise implementation of resident service and care plans; inform physician of changes in condition and needs of residents as necessary; work with third party providers and interface with families.
